Click on ▶ (play) above and see what I experienced at the funeral home for my dad's viewing. I sat alone, quiet, looking at all the memories of his 101 years. He certainly experienced lots of change.
Things come and go. Fashions come, go, come back again, and then disappear. Countries and their political ideas rise and fall. Technology is always, always, always being replaced.
As I sat there alone, the thought hit me: this is how we all will end without hope. Without hope, we're alone in an empty room. Silent. Lifeless. The videos endlessly loop because of their software setting, continuing to play whether anyone watches, or not.

Many people are asking: How can we have hope? Where can we find hope?
The answer isn't a how or where. It's a who - and that who is Jesus.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.
